SMALL PARCEL:

Shipping for smaller items such as parts, doors, and drawers, if the items are in stock, we dispatch them within 24-48 hours from when the order is placed, using carriers like USPS, UPS, or FedEx for shipping. Once your order is on its way, we'll update your order status with tracking information and send you a notification email to keep you informed.

For orders exceeding $400, we require a signature upon delivery to ensure your items reach you securely. We encourage you to track your order using the provided tracking information to have a clear understanding of the delivery date and time. This way, you can ensure you're available to sign for your package upon its arrival.

LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipping:

Larger items and orders are dispatched via freight shipping, which involves a more intricate process than standard small parcel deliveries. It's crucial to be well-prepared and understand your responsibilities well ahead of delivery day to ensure a smooth experience.

Shipping Process:

  • Most freight shipments are transported on a pallet to safeguard your items during transit.
  • Depending on the carrier, you might receive a call to arrange a specific delivery window. Alternatively, some carriers may deliver your shipment to a readily accessible location near your residence, aiming to place it as close to your garage door as possible.
  • Your shipping confirmation email will detail the specific delivery process applicable to your order.

For Scheduled Delivery Appointments:

  • Carriers arranging delivery appointments will require your presence at home to sign for the delivery. Deliveries are made using a semi-truck equipped with lift gate services, and the shipment is typically left at the curb.
  • If you opt to authorize the carrier to leave your delivery without a signature, please note that LionBBQDirect cannot be held liable for any damages incurred during delivery.

For Deliveries Without Appointments:

  • Carriers delivering without a scheduled appointment do not necessitate your presence or a signature for the pallet(s). This approach allows you the convenience of not having to align your schedule with the delivery or sign to acknowledge receipt.
  • If you happen to be home when the delivery arrives, you may request the driver to place your shipment in the garage. If you're not available, the driver will leave it in a suitable location near your garage or doorstep for your convenience.
